“Superior Morning America” anchors Robin Roberts and Josh Elliott ended up dwell at the Vatican in Rome Wednesday early morning to greet Pope Francis.
A massive group loaded St. Peter’s Square to see the Pope, who devoted his weekly address to the importance of serving the lousy. Roberts and Elliot marveled at the influence he experienced on visitors and the way he carried himself.
“I explained to him that I was from The usa and he explained, ‘Please pray for me,’” Roberts recounted. “The pope inquiring, ‘Please pray for me,’ was pretty a second.”
“When he arrived near us and we experienced a prospect to fulfill with him, we really have been crammed with a instant of reverence,” Elliot also said. “There was a minute of serene and peace that surrounds him– it was outstanding.”
“The way that he spends time with people and the expression on his experience is one thing that will keep with us,” Roberts included.
