SourcePoint opens dining center in Delaware's Second Ward - The ...

SourcePoint has announced the opening of a new dining center in Delaware.

The new center will open at the Second Ward Community Center on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Lunches will be served family-style every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with several menu options available. The dining center is open to Delaware County adults ages 60 and older.

The dining center was constructed with the support of a $4,500 grant through the Hunger Alliance, facilitated by United Way. This grant funded the plumbing reconstruction necessary to establish an approved dining center within the Second Ward.

The Second Ward Community Center is located at 50 Ross St. Reservations are required. To make a reservation, call 740-203-2432 no later than 8:30 a.m. on the day of the requested service or, once the dining center is open, make your future reservations with the hostess.

SourcePoint operates seven dining centers in Delaware County, all of which are open to county residents ages 60 and older.
