Minor Distractions - AHL/ECHL 2nd Quarter - PensBurgh

Both the AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the ECHL Wheeling Nailers reached the midway point of the 2013-14 season last Friday. So let's see how well they did in the 2nd Quarter of the season.

The Pittsburgh Penguins minor league affiliates both managed to reach the midway point of the 2013-14 season on the same exact night. The AHL season lasts 76 games, making the midpoint of the season 38 games, and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins played their 38th game on Friday January 17th. The ECHL season lasts 72 games, making the midpoint of the season 36 games, and the Wheeling Nailers played their 36th game on Friday January 17th.
