Cupid Crashers: Glenn and TraciValentine’s day is creeping up on us and you know what that means…Cupid Crashers is back!
On Thursday, February 13th, the Hawk Morning Show will be cupid crashing workplaces here in the Southern Tier spreading some pre-Valentine love.
Imagine your love sitting at his/her desk and some interesting characters dressed up in costume walking into their office with a bullhorn reading a poem that you wrote, which expresses your admiration in front of all of their co-workers. Oh, you know how much fun we could have with this, don’t you?
Cupid Crashers wants to help you make this Valentine’s Day one that your sweets will never, ever forget. We’d also like to give you and your love the chance to win some pretty spectacular prizes like concert tickets- including tickets to the Hawk’s Taste of Country Music Festival, chocolates from Gertrude Hawk Chocolates, roses from Dillenbeck’s and more. But we can’t do it without a little something from you. We need you to submit a poem of love (it can be funny/serious/wacky) by 10am on Monday February 10th.
**This stuff is pretty important, so please make sure you read all of it carefully:
All submissions will be posted to 981TheHawk.com by 10am on Tuesday February 11th and once they are, you’ll want to tell everyone you know vote for what you’ve written before 10am on Wednesday February 12th when voting closes. Winners won’t be selected based on votes alone, but the more votes a submission has, the more times it’ll be entered into the random drawing we’ll conduct on Wednesday February 12th. Nominators and winners will not be notified in advance as we want to this to be a complete surprise.
