During the winter break I was able to see my friend who goes to school in Toronto. We were really lucky because she got back to Vancouver in time for when it snowed and we went sledding. For Christmas I was very happy because I got a Kindle Paperwhite. I enjoy reading books before I watch the movies, so I tried to read the books that are being turned into movies in 2014. I finished the last book in the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins (Mockingjay) on the break. The Mockingjay (Part 1) movie is coming out sometime in November. I also read the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth which includes Divergent, Insurgent & Allegiant over the break. I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t stop reading it and I highly recommend others to read it. Divergent the movie is coming out on March 21st. I am currently reading The Fault in our Stars by John Green which has been a good read so far. The release date for The Fault in our Stars movie is June 6th. Shailene Woodley, the actress who plays the main character Tris in Divergent, also plays the main character Hazel in The Fault in our Stars. I also got to hang out with some friends on the break which was fun, especially because they have read some of the books I read and I could talk to them about it. Overall, I had a really nice break.
